Add To Your Menu Of Services

by Cathleen Fillmore

What are you offering your cllients? How can you expand your list of services without offering so many options that you confuse your prospect?

Think about what you have to sell.

It's always best to concentrate on what you really love to do. You can offer a menu of stand alone services or combine your consulting package with a kick-start keynote.

You can also combine all of the above.

Now you've expanded your menu and client options and added to your income stream.

There are many successful speakers who simply do nothing but keynotes. It's entirely up to you but I urge you to be both flexible and focused in the menu of services you offer

This is a great way to add another income stream and get more buy-in from your prospects.

How about combining a keynote with a consulting or coaching package? This gives you negotiating room if your client's budget is tight.

What service can you add to your menu?

If you look at the business models of the high paid and high profile experts in your field, for example, top paid consultant Alan Weiss. He consults with the CEO of a corporation on how to improve business and then gets booked to do a keynote address to all the employees at the year end conference.

If you currently sell your services to corporate or organizational clients, I suggest you also offer a product or service that appeals directly to individuals. You'll notice that the big names in consulting such as Alan Weiss also sell their services to individuals. You can reach a much bigger market that way.

You can start by thinking of all the different spin-offs you can create in your business. Bring all your experience and expertise to bear when you create your menu and see how many different ways you can package and sell your ideas.

No doubt what you have to offer is of benefit to both groups and individuals and you want to rake in all those dollars from every corner of the earth. Not to mention that you'll also provide great value to a wide group of clients and customers. So change your business plan, add a few things to your menu and let me know how it works out.
