He was hired by Desert Schools just over one year ago to serve as the credit union's media spokesperson and public relations manager, the first person to officially hold that job at Arizona's largest credit union. In his new role, Meyers will continue to manage day-to-day public relations activities with additional oversight in the areas of creative development, branding, research and targeted campaigns. Meyers brings many years of marketing and public relations experience to the position at a time when Desert Schools is poised for additional growth. A graduate of San Diego State University, Meyers' career includes posts as director of marketing communications at the Heard Museum in downtown Phoenix as well as senior copy editor of marketing and creative services at Gannett-owned The Arizona Republic and azcentral. read more
