General Secretary of the Colombo YMBA to develop skills in public speaking, acquire proficiency in the English Language among younger generation inculcating Buddhist ethics and values. The Finals of the 2007 contest was held on October 20 at the YMBA Hall, Borella. Of the 1,400 contestants from all over the Island, Ruwini Wageesha Kodippili from the Nalini De Alwis School of Speech and Drama won the Best overall Contestant's Challenge Cup presented by Sidath Sri Nandalochana in memory of late D.
