You're excited about your upcoming speech and plan on preparing a series of PowerPoint slides for the presentation. Perhaps the most frequent PowerPoint error is neglecting to embed the fonts in your presentation. If you do not embed fonts and the computer displaying your presentation does not contain the fonts in your presentation, it will substitute some other font, often with catastrophic consequences. The result is that your audience will either lose interest in the presentation or may try to read each and every word on the slide rather than paying attention to you.
