Three West River FFA members place first (Rapid City Journal)(public speaking)

Three FFA members from western South Dakota were among first-place winners in leadership competition at the State FFA Leadership Career Development Events on Dec. They were Brett Burke, Newell, in Extemporaneous Speaking; Mark Trask, Philip, in Job Interview. Members advanced to state level competition by placing first or second at their district competitions. Winning teams and individuals will advance and compete in their Career Development Event areas at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Ind.
