Letter of recommendation required (preferably from teacher or school personnel; letters from family members or peers are not permitted); short essay question; and interview required. Applications will also be accepted by Carroll County students attending private schools; they will be reviewed by the CCAC Board of Directors. Students must reside in Carroll County and plan to attend an accredited college or university in the United States. Accepted majors include vocal and instrumental music, music education, performance, music theory, composition, art, art history, art education, design, creative writing, dance, theatre, media arts, film studies, costume design, graphic design, architecture or arts management. Applicants or their parents/guardians must be members of the Carroll County Farm Bureau.
