Topic: public speaking - What Makes a Good Public Speaker Posted By : Ronald Myers
Having someone in front of an audience giving a speech in a monotone voice isn't going to really engage people. The audience can feel this passion in the diction, the tonality, the body language of the speaker. If you shock them, if you make them laugh, if you make it fun, you will be able to powerfully persuade them. I remember my high school physics teacher used a computer chair and a spinning tire to illustrate centripetal acceleration.
